Hand in Hand – Rewriting Baluchistan’s Story, Nothing About Us Without Us
Balochistan Co-Creation Dialogues (BCCD) is a groundbreaking, multi-stakeholder dialogue platform initiated by the Centre for Research, Policy Development, Peace & Strategic Studies (CRPDPSS).
Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest province by area, is a region of immense geopolitical significance, rich natural resources, and diverse cultural heritage. However, it faces persistent challenges related to governance, economic underdevelopment, security, and political alienation. To address these issues through inclusive dialogue, the Centre for Research, Policy Development, Peace & Strategic Studies initiated ” Balochistan Co-Creation Dialogues (BCCD)”—a high-level policy and peace roundtable designed to foster multi-stakeholder engagement, generate actionable policy recommendations, and promote sustainable peace in Balochistan.
“ Balochistan Co-Creation Dialogues (BCCD)” seeks to transform Baluchistan’s narrative from conflict to collaboration by bridging divides between Islamabad and Quetta, security forces and civilians, and elders and youth. By fostering trust and policy coherence, this initiative can pave the way for a stable, prosperous Balochistan.

‘Empowering Women, Shaping the Future’
The 2nd Balochistan Co-Creation Dialogues, held on 31st July 2025 at Mountain View Technology Park, Quetta, brought together women from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences, challenges, and ideas for a more inclusive future. With the theme “Empowering Women, Shaping the Future”, the event focused on building rights-based, gender inclusive policies by amplifying the voices of women across Balochistan. The dialogue unfolded through three key sessions: climate action and environmental policy, women’s health and early childhood development, and gender disparities in business and technology. Each session highlighted the systemic gaps women face, while also showcasing their resilience, leadership, and determination to drive change in their communities.
What made this gathering truly powerful was its co creative nature. Instead of a one way conversation, the event fostered active listening, shared learning, and collaborative problem-solving. Women didn’t just speak they shaped the conversation. From calls to include women in environmental decision making, to the urgent need for accessible health services and equal opportunities in the tech and business sectors, the dialogue underscored a common message: sustainable progress in Balochistan is impossible without empowering its women. The event concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to translating these discussions into concrete, inclusive actions for the province’s future.
